ELVIS IS KING!

I just keep looking around for music I like and finding it in a variety of places. Here’s a favorite song of mine. I really do love ELVIS!

I couldn’t exactly tell you why but this song always seems to make me tear up and cry. I think it is one of the most amazingly beautiful songs I’ve ever heard because of the story told by its lyrics. Maybe too, having lost a few people through the years, it makes me think of them and think about how they weren’t always old. The other thing I realize now is having seen a few people succumb to the horror of Alzheimer’s disease, there is something in here that touches on that lost bit of personal history and how important those stories ultimately are.
